for someone who cannot manage to check into a facebook page more than once a week or less, a blog is daunting. on my very first post, i managed to misspell cana and for an english major that is major. the blog - what's the point?- is likely a manifestation of my need to find some clarity in my writing career and frankly, to have something to claim when i go to the benet pines zen writing retreat. My writing life? well, yes, i actually have a blog. i have several notebooks of poetry, two unfinished novels and one concept that is not working at all. however, all of that pales in the face of (1) the burning need to clean my office and (2) the equally burning need to change the name of this blog. writer's unblock simply will not do. for now, i am off to stir the soup.
